Please help me translate this equation!!

Postby felixodeen » Sun May 17, 2015 5:51 am

Hi,

I'm suppose to translate this equation (please see below) into Eviews. However, I don't fully understand it.
Doesn't the 'Sum^2'-variable mean that there should be a double-lagged variable?

Can someone please help me explain how I should translate it. If you need more info about the equation, please let me know.

Thank you! :D

Assuming you have series in your panel workfile called Y and F,

Code: Select all

D(Y) D(Y(-1)) D(Y(-2)) D(F) D(F(-1)) D(F(-2))
and make sure you select fixed cross-section and period effects.
