If I CTRL C a figure from the result, Eviews puts up a dialog window on copy precision, which slows my work - as it constantly pops up when I CTRL C something. If I want to quickly CTRL C and CTRL V a few numbers from the Eviews results to MS Excel, this constantly bothering dialog box will prolong the operation at least 5 fold (from 2 seconds to 10 second). Can I somehow stop this dialog from appearing every time I want copy something?
I have a similar issue when I run the program, it constantly puts the dialog box on Programme name path etc. I update the program and run it and update and run it and update and run it… and this dialog-box constantly pops up. Can I get rid of it?
P.S. Imagine MS Excel/Word/Outlook would asked you each time you copy something you want it formatted or unformatted and you would lose 30 minutes of your life each day on this dialog box.

I agree that the copy dialog is irritating when you're doing a lot of CTRL-C, CTRL-V work. It is something that we're going to spend some time seeing if we can come up with a solution to, although I'm not sure what it could be right now.
Re: Eviews - Copy Precision Annoys
Just put an option into Options where I could define that every time I CTRL C something, it will be "formated", "unformated", or "Eviews will ask". Seems easy, isn't it?
How about the Dialog Box that pops up when I press "Run" in a program? It's called "Run Program" dialog box. It also annoyes when you update and run the program many times when writing it. Can I get red of it? I assume you get this dialog box a lot since you "program" daily.

Re: Eviews - Copy Precision Annoys
The problem is that half of the time you want "formatted" and half of the time you don't. It isn't a personal preference type option, rather it is a "why are you coping" type option. When I'm copying an EViews regression into Word, I want the formatted version. When I'm copying a coefficient vector into Excel, I want the unformatted.
I don't actually program daily :D, and often programs require arguments, so that dialog is sort of essential. We can probably make it that the run short-cut key (either the existing one, or a new one) doesn't bring up the dialog though.

For me 2.836066 is fine. I do not need 2.836066169871948 even when copying it to MS Excel. I wonder what do you do with the 0.000000169871948 part? :D I am already imagining our Chief Economist comming to my office screaming that my US GDP Growth forcast was wrong by 0.000000169871948. :D
