Could you kindly advise why this happening in E7 and how to get around it...it may not be a bug, but we are not sure why the view is changing on its own. Please find attached a screen shot and the workfile we are using. Appreciate a quick turn around as the file is being used in a course tomorrow.
BTW, reseting the user profile gets around the problem for the first access to the file, which we have full access to.
Thanks, sam

Send an email to support@eviews.com. In your email include your EViews32.ini file. If you are using Windows XP the file can be found in
c:/documents and settings/<myusername>/application data/quantitative micro software/eviews
for vista users
C:\Users\<myusername>\AppData\Roaming\Quantitative Micro Software\EViews

Re: Why is this happening?
Hay,
Tnx for the tip, QMS Jason!
My colleague just had such problem on her win7 machine.
Cleaning out everything under [Options] (except "color theme" and "last component check") in EViews32.ini file effectively reseted user interface. Ok, may be cleaning out all of that stuff is not necessary, if one have enough time to play around and find the exact operator to cancel in that list. I just didn't have that much time ;)
PS If someone should do this on his/her own - always BACKUP .ini file before editing it!
