How to extend dated panel

Postby startz » Thu Jul 09, 2015 9:11 am

I have a dated panel with 138 cross-sections from 1960 through 2010. I want to extend the sample to 2100 for forecasting. I double-clicked on Range, got the Workfile structure dialog, entered 2100 for the end date, and hit Okay.

Nothing happened other than the dialog closing. I suspect I'm going about this in completely the wrong way.

Guidance?

Do the same thing, but this time check the box that says "pad obs".

Nope. Well, either "nope" or I'm still not getting it.

Guess I should be more precise. Check the box that says "Pad obs to end".
