Database registry problem.

Postby Liu » Mon Jul 15, 2013 6:13 am

Hi,

I just met a strange problem in Eviews 7 due to unknown reason.
I was trying to add another eviews database to the registry through Options=>Database Registry=> Add New Entry.
However, after I added a new database, the old registered databases all disappeared. I must have done something wrong, but can't figure it out myself.

Is there a way I can retrieve all the previous database I registered? I was trying to do so by retrieving an old file: c:\Program Files\Eviews 7\ev_dbase.dll. But that file seems not including the registry info.

Thanks in advance.

The EViews registry is stored in the file called evDB.ini in your ini directory (you can find the location of that from Options->General Options->File Locations).
