Eviews 7 crashes when forecasting from state-space

Dear eviews experts,

I think I have found a bug (or something similar) in eviews 7 (premise: my version is totally up to date, i downloaded and installed the last patch just now)

I have a long of program where at the end I make forecasts n=2 steps ahead from a state space model.
Each time I run it when the program arrives to the point of the forecasts it inevitably crashes :( do you have any idea of what's happening?

I have send the files to your support email and as I said before my build is the latest one, 7.2 updated with the November '12 patch.

The problem is that there is an error in your program that we weren't anticipating and have done a poor job of handling. Your sspace forecast is trying to do a two-period-ahead forecast with a forecast sample of 1 observation. It can't do this and issues an error, which we don't handle very well (unless you consider crashing good error handling--which I don't ). I've put a fix into the code base for this and it should appear in the next update.

The two-period-ahead forecast error problem is one you'll have to fix yourself :)

Of course I will handle the error myself :D but still it is good that u could put a fix into the crash itself...
it is difficult to correct errors if eviews gets stuck and I need to reboot every time!
