previous versions of eviews used to handle having values pasted in from excel however the more recent versions seem to freeze and then paste in values with borders and tabs which are fiddly to remove. can you please make it work like it used to (i.e. like notepad)

not sure what the issue is then as when ran as an addin it's definitely not been showing the same errors.

would be great to provide the ability to set user-defined functions in manner similar to addins but in a way that allowed the user-defined function to be included in estimation objects (i.e. equations)

Just updated eviews8 with the patch and your new solution of copying the data out of tables in spools as images is not really very helpful as people can no longer easily take the data into excel or other environments. can you indicate whether you will implement copy and paste as per previous as this...

In eviews 8 it no longer seems possible to copy values out of a table in a spool... the copy option is available but nothing goes to the clipboard.

It would be really helpful if the dialog for pool estimation was improved to make it a bit easier to use.
