Control the number of decimals

Hi all,

I have a made a plot showing the relation between x (horizontal axis) and y (vertical axis). Problem: the x-axis shows the decimals which is not that nice. Question: How can I get rid of the decimals on the x-axis?

Regards,

What would you like to show instead?

Hi - just the numbers without any decimals.

I have made the figure, but did not succeed in editing the numbers on the x-axis.

You mean you want to round the displayed numbers?

Yes, that's correct.

Open the graph dialog, click on Axes & Scaling -> Data axis labels, then change the Decimals Places combo to "0".

Unfortunately the option does not work. The series I'm analyzing is "Undated with ID series" and the "Identifier series" I have selected (and which is the x-axis) is a series with decimals. Anyway, I also expected that the option you recommend should work when editing the plot - but it did not.

Hi - See attached workfile. The "adtime" is the x-axis. Try for example to plot the variable "nps".

You don't have any decimals in adtime. When I graph it, it doesn't show decimals.

Mysterious --- I have attached a print-screen so you can see what I see. (I selected and opened the variabel PNS, then selected Graph)

Ah, I had assumed you were doing a scatter graph.

Open up the Adtime series, hit Properties, then change the display format. Then recreate your graph.
