Hello all,
so I have been asked to create a "Response Prediction Tool" for Email-Newsletters.
I`ve got lots of Excel Sheets (one for each Newsletter) containing one line for each Person that opened
the Mail. The important info for me in there is the date. Format is: "dd.mm.yy hh:mm:ss".
I want to have the frequencies in percentage and most important the cumulative percentages of openings for each MINUTE.
The Problem I am facing is, that of course I dont have entries for each Minutes. Sometimes there are 10 Minutes where nothing happens.
So I am facing the Problem of incomplete time series data.
Can Eviews detect that and automatically create a time series with openings=0 (or just Input NA) for minutes that are not in the dataset?
Otherwise it would take me hours to Input Zeros manually...Some of the Newsletters have more than 100.000 openings...
I hope I made clear what I want to do :-D
Then I can easily view the one-way tabulation of the series and it save it in csv...
I am also open for other ideas how to Approach my Task.
I attached an example Excel sheet, so you know how my data Looks like.
Thank you very much!! (and excuse the random big and small letters...the Company only uses ie which has an awful autocorrect)
