Creating simple series 1 to 48

Hello,

I think this is a simple request...

I want to create an index series called "index" within EViews with 48 observations, numbered 1 to 48 spanning from 1986 to 2036

So:

1986 = 1
1987 = 2
1988 = 3
.
.
.
2036 = 48

Can't seem to figure out a simple way to do this.
