New MS Office (v 14)

Together with new Windows 7, MS is developing a new MS Office.

The nowadays version (XLSX Excel files) has lots of problems (but nice things too - like the possibility to work with more than 256 columns in XLSX files). Now MS is working on a new version to be launched together to new Windows.

I'd like to suggest the EV7 the ability to read/save not only xlsx files, but, also, whatever MS invent to us (cause, usually, firms buy new versions of MS-Office packages - and I'd like to work them with EV7 optimizing import/export duties in PRG files).

It's pretty difficult for us to support new Excel formats before they've been released. It's doubtful that Office 14 will be released before EViews 7.

I understand. Anyway, its improbable they'll change the format again (xlsx to any other; we hope). Tks.
