Maybe You could give me an advice about Distributed Lag Models?

Firstly i have builted a PDL model.
In my task I have to find out: "normalize economic variables for the infliation index to get "pure values" "?
Maybe You could give me an advice, what function could I use for this?
(I have data of GDP, consumption, government expenditures, money stock. and etc.
