questions on new commands: addarrow and print(pdf)

Hi,

I am using the two new commands in eviews 8 and I have some questions about them:

For addarrow command, once I place an arrow on the chart, if I move it around and find an ideal place for it, how can I know the coordinate of it?

For graph.save(t=pdf), I noticed that the saved PDF chart lost our template settings for charting (eg., the x axis line is thinner than stipulated in the chart template.).
Is there a way I can print pdf chart and still preserve the template setting?

Thank you.

Unfortunately you cannot find the location.

Could you provide an example of the pdf printing problem?

Hi Gareth, Please take a look at the two files. One is by a software,(use print command instead of save command)
The pdfeviews.pdf is the one created by save(t=pdf). The problem is that in this file, the x axis is thinner and the letters are more scattered.

Hi Liu,

1) Try turning off label kerning. Go to options->graphics defaults, select Exporting in the tree and then select 'Keep label as a single block of text ....'
2) For the X-axis thin line issue, I will need your workfile. Please send it to support@eviews.com
