Manipulation percentage change data

i am trying to construct a ols regression. my dependent variable is inflation and independent variable are gdp and income.
what i wanted to know is if it is possible as inflation in in terms of percentage where as gdp and income are not.
and if it is possible do i kneed to input the inflation data in terms of 0.005 to represent 5%
