Hi guys,
I'm actually working with a wage panel-data file from wooldridge (2007) for my thesis. Inside the file there are dummy variables for black and hispanic, but all the variables (educ, exper, union and so on) include information about all races. Is it possible to cut the data in three pieces for blacks, whites and hispanics? That I can do a deskriptive statistic only for this groups? It would be great if someone can help me :) Don't hestiate to contact me. Thanks a lot!
Here is the link for the data: http://fmwww.bc.edu/ec-p/data/wooldridge/WAGEPAN

Re: Panel Data Modification
Open up a series, click on View->Descriptive Statistics->Stats by Classification, then enter the name of your dummy variables.
