Is it possible to post a list of things which are:
- in progress or almost done,
- to do,
- to look into,
- (probably) in the next version of Eviews.

It could be nice to know on what Eviews Team is working on.

The problem with that is that there are often things that we work on that don't end up in the next version (for whatever reason). Thus I could say that I'm working on the foo estimator, and then people get all excited (well as much as is possible to be excited over the foo estimator), only to complain when foo doesn't actually make it into EViews 8.

Obviously the close we get to the release of EViews 8, the better idea we'll have, and the more information we'll release.

A good hint at the sort of things, at least econometrically, that we're thinking about is to look at the Add-ins we've done. At least personally, I've tended to write a simple EViews program version of what I'm working on prior to coding it up internally. Many of those simple programs have then been supped up into an Add-in.
