FORECAST

Hi
I need some help about the forecasting...
I estimated different arma models and i chose one model based on the aic criterium, the next step for me is to forecast previsions for the futur.
I click on the equation corresponding to the model i chose, then i click on the forecast button on the same window...
When i click on the forecast button (i use eviews 3.1) and i try to change the sample for futur values i have an error message saying: ATTEMPT TO CHANGE SAMPLE OUT OF WORKFILE.

You probably have the workfile range set to the dates that represent your data and are now trying to forecast past the end of your data. Make sure the workfile range is at least as long as the dates you want to forecast.
