Manipulating the data

Hi there,
I have a problem of two variables that are in daily basis (currency and market index) but other one includes cell with weekends and holidays but the other one does not. Thus one is about 800 observations and other is over 1000.
It is not constant (for example every 5-6 observation) so It's really difficult to handpick them out.
Do you have any ideas how to make excel or Eviews find the same dates and arrange by them ?
