DuckDB vs. SQL/ODBC drivers

Hey all,

Trying to integrate better my databases. In fact, trying to move some from EV databases to some SQL, ideally DuckDB. Increasingly I'm using R/Python together with EV, depending on each case. I'm kind of impressive seeing the performance of DuckDB dealing with data. Unfortunately, only SQLite, more limited, talk with EViews smoothly (ODBC driver).

I don't know if someone's else could share experience here? Possibly, someone from EV team may talk about future perspectives about software integration?

PS. Also having problems with IMF data plugin. Using the latest EV14 patch (August 14, version for databases)
