Hi All,

I am lately having an issue in where I enter an equation in the input box, say:

Y c X1_L2L2 X2_L2L2 X3_L2L2

and then run this equation, receiving the output associated with the above.
However, when I click estimate to update the above, the input box reverts to a prior equation, let's say:

Y c X1_L1L1 X2_L1L1 X3_L1L1

This is essence means that I have to retype the equation that I wanted to estimate and then change it to what I want it to be.
As you can imagine, this is very inconvenient if one is tweaking equations.

This started happening in Eviews 14 and also happens in Eviews 14 and in four different project files.

Any ideas what is causing this or a fix?

I cannot replicate this. Can you provide an example file, or steps to replicate?

What's the build date of your copy of EViews 14? (Help->About EViews)

This is happening with both Eviews 13 and 14.

For Eviews 13: Feb 6 2025 build
For Eviews 14: April 8 2025 build.

This has never happened before and I have been using Eviews for a while - these and earlier versions.

It is possibly related to your specific file. Could you post your workfile?
