Pagesave with update option returns "file does not exist"

Hi all,
I'm trying use pagesave with the update option, and the prg crashes, returning and error saying the file does not exist.
I have checked, and the file still does exist.
As a test I have tried to write to the same directory, to a new file (mode=default), and it writes successfully. I then try the same code again, and eviews returns a prompt telling me the file already exists, and asks if I'd like to overwrite it.
If I change my code to update (ex: pagesave(type=excel, mode=update)...etc the prg crashes, returning the "file does not exist" error.
Any help is appreciated, as this is for a client facing product with a deadline this morning.

A few machine restarts seems to have fixed the issue.
