How to extrapolate time series data?

Postby Yasmin_a » Wed Mar 20, 2019 10:59 am

The sample size for my study is 1980-2017, but one of my variable I'm old missing 1980 (one value). How can I extrapolate to get the missing?
Thank you

There's two parts to this question.
  • Which econometric/statistical/mathematical technique should I used to extrapolate my data.
  • How do I perform that technique in EViews.
Once you have an answer to the first, we can help with the second.
