Killed it several times. At least twice I was able to do this by
1. open workfile
2. object/var/econvar
3. specify and estimate including @trend
4. object/var - blewey

What is the build date? Is this 32-bit or 64-bit?

Default for variable EconBA and EconPhD with addition of exogenous @trend.

You are having problem at estimation time? No problem here with "C @trend" and "@trend" alone.

Feb 26 64-bit

No. The problem happened on trying to open a new object after the estimation. I have no reason to believe the estimation was relevant.

Do you get a "Delete Untitled VAR" prompt? What is your "Global Option/Environment/Allow only one untitled" setting? (Still can't replicate).

No prompt, and I believe it happened before I closed the dialog.
