I am working on this paper about personal beliefs and economic growth. For this reason I have two datasets: one from the World Bank with some variables about the countries in many years. For instance: wages and export, in Argentina, in 2010 and 2014. One observation per year.
The other one is a little bit more tricky: it comes from a questionnaire, so I have many observations, on the same year, for the same country. For instance: how often you go to church, in Argentina in 2010 and 2014.
The answers go from 1 - Never to 5 - everyday, and they are for many people, so I have like 1000 answers to this question in the same year.
And so my questions are:
- How can I combine these two together? I would like to have everything about Argentina together for instance.
- How can I let EViews understand that the second dataset is a questionnaire, with discrete values?
