Testin for insignificant variables

Postby Ynwe » Fri Dec 11, 2015 2:45 am

hello I have the following outputs

I have a problem: My first result is on the left. To test the three insigfnificant variables I should use a redundant variable test right? It tells me though to remove all 3! But I know from just reducing the model by hand, that life expectancy should be significant

What am I doing wrong?

You are misinterpreting the test result. Read the null hypothesis carefully and then decide whether or not to reject it using the p-value of related test statistic.
