Insufficient Observations Error in Pedroni Test

Postby berten » Wed Sep 09, 2009 3:04 pm

Hi all,

I get an error when I try to implement Pedroni cointegration test for panel data. The error message says "insufficient observations", but I have over 2000 observations for each variable. Here is what I have done:
- I have introduced my excel data file into EViews as panel data.Cross-section: id, data series: year.
- Then I used the group view option and found pedroni test. When I click, I get the error message of insufficient observations.
Could anyone please tell me my mistake? Thank you very much.

I appreciate any answers,
Bilge

You might want to post your workfile.

I am attaching my workfiles. I need to conduct two Pedroni cointegration tests (one for each set of variables)

I appreciate your help. Thank you very much.

I was able to run the Pedroni test on both of your datasets.
