Linking series across pages: copy description from source

Dear Eviews team,
I use Eviews 9
the command or program line

link x.linkto Quarterly\x

would not automatically copy the description, source, and unit fields of the label of the source series to the label of the link.
To my view there is no easy way to accomplish that in a program.
An option to the link procedure which would allow for selectively retaining the label fields from the source would be much welcome.

Try using the copy command rather than linkto
