How to link excel data

Hello,

I am working with excel and eviews with several databases and it would be really good if there was a way to make the data linkes, so if I update the excel file, the eviews file would be automatticaly updated.

Is there any way to do this?

Yes. When opening the Excel file in EViews 9, when it asks you if you would like to link to the Excel file, select "Yes".

Oh, OK. So I take it that is not possible on EViews 8?
