Sampling and dummy variables

Postby klertje » Wed Aug 19, 2009 2:56 am

Hi,
I'm new to EViews, so apologies if the question is very easy. I have a dataset containing bond issues (type of bond, identifiers, ratings, amount issued) and have already calculated the abnormal returns. I would like to sample the bonds by type and rating, sort of what @expand(convertible, rating) would do.
Can anybody please help me with this? Thank you in advance.

I don't understand this question.

Non-normality and collinearity are NOT problems!

Perhaps you want View/Descriptive statistics/Stats by classification?
