Hi,
I have a minor concern, and I hope someone can help explain.
I am curios why my original series "osg_nd" that looks like this in EViews,
P - 97 3044241
P - 98 3132050
P - 99 3338725
P - 00 3475491
P - 01 3611086
P - 02 3808219
ends up looking like this after I use the command "genr profit_expect = @mav(osg_nd, 3)"? What's the significance, if any, of the period at the end of each value?
P - 97 3044241.
P - 98 3088146.
P - 99 3171672.
P - 00 3315422.
P - 01 3475101.
P - 02 3631599.
Thanks!!

Re: Results displayed oddly
The original series had integers. The resultant series, obviously, is not integers. There are numbers after the decimal place, but EViews, by default, only shows 9 significant digits.
