Reinstall of Eviews 7

I have a user of Eviews going to be upgraded from XP to Win 7. I have the patch and 7.2 upgrade for the install. The question I have is other than his serial number is there anything else I have to get off his machine before the upgrade? I am assuming I will reinstall on Win 7 and then put in his serial number and it will register.

Yes I have the install media. Just need to know what I need off of the old machine before rebuild. Just the serial number?

You can't actually retrieve the full serial number from the old machine, only the first part of it. If you don't have the full serial number, you'll need to email sales@eviews.com and ask for it.
