All data is set to NA

Hello,

I am working a lot with EViews at the moment, and im having so trouble with my data workfile.
Whenever i open a workfile without opening EViews first (so out of my documents folder) all the data is set to NA. When i close it again and open the same document through EViews the data is set correctly. Whenever all the data is set to NA, i can not make a series with any values in it. I tested this with "genr x = 5" but it still says NA. This makes me think it has something to do with the settings.
Today i wanted to try something in EViews, so i wanted to make a "series x = 5" in an empty undated workfile with 50 observations. But when i opened x, it only said NA. And this time i can not fix it by opening in EViews, because i did not open anything.

Does anyone know wheter this has anything to do with the settings? Or what else it could be?

You might want to apply the free updates and see if the problem goes away.
