Pagesave -TSD files

I try to save a TSD file using pagesave command. I specify the sample period using @smpl. It seems that there is a bug in Eviews. It ignores the @smpl option and sends all the data to the TSD file. However, if I save the data as an excel file, the @smpl option works. The command I used in my program is:

pagesave(t=tsd) m:\eviews\fromeviews @smpl 1987q1 2013q1
