Hi,
I'm using Eviews 7 and want to share my database registry with my colleagues so we are all using the same aliases for databases. I guess there are three ways to do it. One way is to find out the name of the file that resides on my computer that includes the registry information - I couldn't find anything obvious. The second is to write a program that creates/modifies the database registry that I can send to my colleagues. The third is the one I'm trying to avoid which is going around and setting everyone up.
Any help is most appreciated.
Thanks

Re: programming database registry
The file is called EVDB.ini, and is stored in your EViews ini directory (which you can look up under Options->General Options->File Locations).
