Duplicate observations in a panel error

Hi,

I have a large panel with daily frequency where the provider of the data has, by mistake, included duplicate observations for one day.

When trying to put structure in the file with a pagestruct instruction the error message is "Indices do not uniquely identify observations. 216 duplicate date(s)found". Eviews suggests to create a CELLID series but I'm not sure what to do next in order to remove the duplicate data.
