EViews help menu makes EViews close ....

Hi,

When using this Help file,

EViews often crash. If I open the help file from outside EViews, the help menu often closes unexpectedly. This happens not only for me but for my colleagues as well.

Is this a bug in EViews? Is there a setting we can adjust so that it does not happen?

Unfortunately we have no control over that particular help format reader - I don’t think Microsoft have updated it since Windows 98.

We should really stop providing the help in that format.
