Hey,
I'm a beginner to this so I might be asking quite a simple question - apologies if so!
I am doing a customer satisfaction survey and would have ratings variables such as:
Value for money (between 1-5)
Customer Service (between 1-5)
Communication (between 1-5)
etc..
and have an overall satisfaction variable (between 1-10)
Data isnt available yet - will be available on Saturday PM.
I would need to do multiple regression to analyse the influence of each of these factors on the overall satisfaction of the company in question...But I have only ever done time-series regression briefly a long time ago. Is this cross-sectional regression?
How would I go about this on Eviews or Microsoft Excel - is this fairly simple?
Also, are there any drawbacks of using this method?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: Multiple regression analysis question
hi there
i think what u r doing is cross sectional analysis and you can use either Excel or SPSS......Eviews does that kind of analysis but i think SPSS is better in terms of cross sectional data.
all the best.
