Installation on MacBook Pro

I downloaded Eviews 2011 Student Version but it is not opening up. Specifically, whenever I try to click on it - the terminal tab comes up and disappears before I can see what is on it. I would appreciate any assistance on this.

Hello, I have the same problem with EViews11Univ. I have the installer and the icon "EViews11Univ" but when trying to open it, a terminal appears for a second and then disappears.
