Fineness of histogram

Postby tomi76 » Mon Mar 01, 2010 5:31 am

Hi,

I create a monte carlo simulation. It provides as a result vectors with number of element 10000.
Based on result vector I create distribution/histogram graph. It works fine, just I have 1 minor but very annoying problem.
The result vector contains only integer values between 0-90. When I make distribution histogram, eviews automatically
classify the resulted numbers into intervals with lenght of 2.5.
Because of this, in this example I have (90/2.5)+1=37 bars on histogram. I would like to have 90+1 separated bars (for each potential values) on histogram.
I am unable to modify the "fineness" of histogram, please help.
I hope I was clear.

Tamas

When you create the histogram, hit the options button to take you to the Distribution Plot Customize dialog, and then change "Bin Width" to "User-Specified"
