I have experienced that the EViews optimizer is not always optimal, i.e. it does not always solve a problem it should be able to solve. This happens both in system estimation and when solving models, see e.g., http://forums.eviews.com/viewtopic.php? ... 141#p53141.
could you please add the artificial bee colony algorithm to your optional solutions methods? see either
