Multiple Time series

Postby Manuel Rodriguez » Tue Nov 08, 2016 4:35 am

Hello everybody,

This is my first post.

I am relativelly new with this and will like to ask a question about how does e-views treat multiple time series.

I have 21 time series (countries)through 10 variables. When i load it in Eviews it takes it as a panel , but I will like to treat it as something different, as individual time series.

How can I do that , should I load it separatelly?

One time series per country?

Thank you.

You'll need to convert your panel into a pool.

Click on Proc->Reshape Current Page->Unstack in new page.

Enter your cross-section identifier in the first box and the date series in the second box. Hit OK.

Typically it will error if your cross-section identifiers (countries) have invalid names - too long or with spaces, periods etc...
