optimal number of observations in panel data:?:

Hello all,

I wanted to ask if anyone knows, what should be the optimal number of observations in a panel data model?
I know from expreience at least 50 obs. should be taken in cross country or time series model.

Please let me know, as i am starting my first panel data model ... :mrgreen: :wink: :mrgreen:
