Hello,
I am running a program that is fetching a daily data series into a quarterly workfile. The default conversion is set to average, which is what I want, but it seems to be adding the daily data instead. Is there a way to get around this problem and forcing an average? Thanks

Hard to say what's going wrong without seeing what's going on.
Re: Data converting incorrectly
Hi. I am finding difficulty with converting low to high frequency data using balanced panel data.
If the data ever converts, it doesn't correspond with the original cross id. The country object label on an annual basis doesn't translate into a new converted high frequency with its corresponding names. Then there is the problem of how to make sure that the converted data corresponds with the designated country . I may start with an annual series where no 1 Argentina, 2 Brazil, 3 Canada and so on. After the conversion is done I get either a string of NAs stacked , no country names appear in the country column, just numbers and whats worse the converted results don't even add up to the sum original numbers. In fact during an annual to quarterly conversion, the converted figures are frequently larger than the original figure, suggesting that quarterly cross ids don't match to their corresponding country name.
The user's manual doesn't accurately create a new page from a clean worksheet, which is not realistic to say the least.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
