User defined functions

A nice feature to add that exists in other software (fame, troll, mathematica, etc.) would be user defined functions.
Subroutines may not be used into models or as part of formula (dynamic series).

I'm missing this feature to port some applications to eviews. I've seen other posts in the Eviews forum requesting for instance HP-filter as a function. If users can code subroutine as a function, it is then very easy to have if call the HP-filter command.
