commenting out a block of code

Hello,
I have a simple question: is there a way to comment out a block of code like, e.g. in C /*... */ does?
I know, of course, about ' which comments out a single line, but being able to comment out a whole block of code would be quite convenient.

EViews 7 has (or will have) this feature, but I do not think there is an easy way to do something similar in earlier versions. Yet, you can always put an IF statement around the lines that you want to be inactive...
