Hi
I am translating code from Eviews 7 into Eviews 9 and have a problem with saving the roots of an ARMA process.
When I try to run this line of code - EQ1.ARMA(TYPE=ROOT, SAVE=ROOT) - I get the following error message: root_AR is an illegal or reserved name in "DO_ EQ1.ARMA(TYPE=ROOT, SAVE=ROOT)".
It used to work in EViews7 so I am not sure what I am doing wrong, it seems consistent with the example provided here: http://www.eviews.com/help/helpintro.ht ... -arma.html.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Also, if this is a bug, is there any way I can get around it?
Thanks
Fiona

Looks like a bug that will be impossible to get around. We'll fix it within a few days.

Actually, we cannot replicate this - what is the build date of your copy of 9?

Could you update to the latest version, and if the problem persists, upload the workfile with the equation?
