Dear all,
I have found this explanation about the interpretation of coefficients in a random effects model for panel data in - http://www.princeton.edu/~otorres/Panel101.pdf:
"Interpretation of the coefficients is tricky since they include both the within-entity and between-entity effects. In the case of TSCS data represents the average effect of X over Y when X changes across time and between countries by one unit."
Still, I am not sure if this is valid to all types of models. For example, in my case, as for "effects specification" in EVIEWS I have selected only "random cross-section effects", while the option for "period" was selected as "none". Will the previous explanation also fit my case?
Thank you very much for your support.
Kind regards,
Luís
