Survey data and categorical response

Postby crysix » Sun Sep 13, 2015 9:36 pm

Hi all

I am new to Eviews (having come from R and SAS). Looking for some help in creating a ordered logistic regression.

I currently have data sets of 6 years of cross-sectional data on surveys conducted for a general social survey, in 16 countries. The variable I am interested in is Happiness (rated on a subjective rating from 0 to 9). My interest is in the affect of per capital GDP on happiness. The data isn't panel so I've loaded it into eviews as unstructured and undated (not sure if this is correct - any advice would be greatly appreciated).

I want to run a ordered logistic regression of happiness on per capita GDP with country fixed effect and time fixed effect.

My question is how I include the fixed effects (country and time) in estimating the model.

Thanks in advance!

Use @expand as a RHS variable.
