Unbalanced Panel Data

To rephrase the question in my previous post,

I know it is possible to run unbalanced, equally spaced panel data on Eviews 6 but can an unbalanced, unequally spaced panel also be run in the same manner?

Did you find out whether EViews 6 can estimate unbalanced panel with unequal spaces?

I too would like to Eviews rather than going to Stata.

Can you be more precise about how you believe the spacing influences the analysis in your panel. EViews can certainly have a panel with irregular dating, and in some contexts the dating of observations doesn't matter. So the question is how, if at all, the dating of observations matters in your analysis.

Incidentally, I almost didn't see this post. It's probably in the wrong section of the Forum...
