Hiya
Maybe an idiotic question, but is there a way to programmatically save a PRG (possibly with encryption). In other words
- You open a PRG (double click on it or using the menu)
- You run it
- Once it runs (does whatever) it saves itself before ending
Saving operations "seem" to be programatically restricted only to workfiles/data but not to PRGs (saving a PRG can only be done from the save/save as menu buttons in the PRG scripting window). Is that correct?
Thanks
G

Re: Saving a PRG programmatically
There is no way to save a program programmatically.
Re: Saving a PRG programmatically
Thanks for the quick reply Gareth. It's interesting that although you can save a PRG from within its scripting screen, there is no equivalent SAVE command to do so programmatically; that would be potentially a good addition for a future release. Anyway, it's what I suspected. Thanks again.
